LLumar® Unveils Protective Wrap Film, Its Newest Innovation. The Look of Car Wraps Meets the Resilience of Paint Protection Film.
Posted on Jan 16, 2024St. Louis, Missouri, USA - Eastman Performance Films, LLC proudly announces the upcoming launch of LLumar® Protective Wrap Film, another first for the company in the automotive film industry. LLumar Protective Wrap Film integrates the looks of car wraps with the resilience of paint protection film, helping elevate vehicle protection to another level.
“We’re excited about how this product launch extends Eastman’s leading brand and product technology into auto color wraps,” noted Erin Bernhardt, General Manager of Eastman Performance Films. “The combination of color choice with the durability of paint protection film delivers a game-changing product that installs as well or better than other TPU-based options on the market. The speed and ease of the dry installation combined with the durability of protective film will make LLumar Protective Wrap Film an exciting and profitable option for professional installers.”
Initially, Protective Wrap Film will be available in satin black, where style will set the tone for Eastman’s highly anticipated two-in-one innovation—offering both a color and finish change along with new protective advances. The film surrounds a vehicle with polyurethane construction and a self-healing top coat for a more durable, scratch-resistant finish, commonly unavailable with conventional car wraps.
When reimagining standard car wraps, Eastman engineers discovered new, exciting possibilities of integrating the self-healing properties of paint protection film—improving several key performance factors far beyond current standards for the product category. Powered by self-healing technology, Protective Wrap Film helps deliver rock chip defense and scratch protection along with added resistance to nature’s toughest challenges.
From the extensive commitment of Eastman’s manufacturing resources and intensive testing, comes a product like you’ve never experienced before. The rich, satin black appearance helps give any vehicle lasting style with easier maintenance and the ability to self-heal scratches by exposing it to sun or engine heat. Plus, a straightforward, easy-to-understand 5-year limited warranty* provides confidence for miles on factory-painted surfaces. Other warranties could vary depending on coverage zones, color choices and geographical location.
A limited release of LLumar Satin Black Protective Wrap Film will soon be available in North America and exclusively through a select network of LLumar film dealers.
